Grant was born and raised in a Mopar family and has exclusively raced Mopar vehicles. Starting with a 1969 Dodge Dart sporting a 340 with W2 heads that ran 11s to the current 1984 Dodge Daytona previously running mid 9s.

Carrying on the speedy tradition to the street Grant has also owned fast cars such as a 1971 Charger 500.

In the 2009 season Grant aims to go even faster with the addition of a 572 cubic inch World Products motor to the Daytona's arsenal
