Come by the World of Wheels show this weekend to see the Daytona in person. There may be other cars there as well but I'm not sure they'll be worth seeing over the Daytona but you may want to see them anyway. That and Kim from L.A. Ink will be there to sign autographs... Mmmmm... Kim.... |

Racing Update: August Long Weekend Posted: August 06 2007 by Tony |

I can't give a complete story on Sunday's racing as I wasn't there (commitments at home) but I can say that Grant didn't make it past the first round due to a small nut falling off the throttle linkage. The Daytona is running faster with each pass it seems. Grant ran a best of 9.59 today with crappy air. Makes us wonder what the car would run with some nice clean air. Traction was good... until the last run in the second round of eliminations. To say the car was hooking is an understatement. Pulling the front off the ground is a good indication of traction, so the Daytona was getting plenty of that. I have no clue who won what since we didn't stick around too long after getting the boot. The Midwest Wildbunch was there putting on a good show for everyone. There were three 6 second vehicles making passes. Very nice. Since I'm updating I'll introduce the newest tow vehicle. Grant was tired of stuffing money into the gas tank of the Hemi Ram so he decided to get a nice Cummins Turbo Diesel Heavy Duty Ram 3500: Nice huh? The truck gets more MPG hauling the trailer than the Hemi did hauling nothing. Go Diesel! |

It was nice to make a return at Gimli Motorsports Park this last weekend. Saturday was spent breaking the motor in and setting up the suspension. The weather was good and with the new motor Grant ran a best of 9.98 at 137 mph. The 60 foot time is a little off the old times with the 400, but still respectable. I personally didn't make it out on Sunday but do know that Grant ran a 9.94 @ 138mph. In the first round of eliminations Grant (with a dial in of 9.94) went up against Jeff Arpin. Grant cut a sweet .430 light against Jeff's .520 but due to wheel spin ended up running a 10 flat. It was very close but Jeff ended up with the win there. Next race day is August long weekend, so we'll see you out there then! |

Something seems to be missing here. Can't quite put my fingers on it... Everything should be up and running for the May long weekend race. See you out there! |

So far so good Posted: March 29 2007 by Tony |

Still have a little bit of work to do to the site but overall it is working well. The Media section won't get updated until May. I apologize for that but we're waiting until we get some more updated pictures and video. I've added links to our sponsors and related sites to racing in Manitoba along the bottom. In the meantime here's a picture of Grant and Laurie ![]() |

Welcome to the new site Posted: March 26 2007 by Tony |

It's up a little earlier than planned and there are still something to work on/work out (ie: some display issues in Firefox), but here is the updated website. No more tracking, no more fancy links to the individual sections. Just a streamlined website. Hope you enjoy! Thanks, Tony |
